Jessica Claire Workshop: Camp Style Wedding

While we’re all about the craft hut and new friendships of summer camp, it can be tough to translate the love of outdoors into a lovely wedding celebration. Ashlyn & Heather of Carter & Cook did just that at the latest Jessica Claire Workshop. Their uncampy camp theme came across beautifully with rustic touches and a casual vibe.

This simple ceremony set-up makes the couple the focal point.

Simple touches like eucalyptus leaves on the back of ceremony chairs can make any seat special.

Our rustic red metal folding side tables just beg for beautiful programs.

The first kiss under our iron ceremony arch

Don’t you love the cantaloupe-turned-decor on this rustic farm table for the reception? We do!

We really dig these cakes… especially on top of our red metal table. We’re always fans of treats from Sweet & Saucy Shop and these toasted marshmallow beauties fit the bill for a slice around the campfire.

Wouldn’t you love a campfire (sans smoke) with your friends to end your celebration?

Our bingo cards were just begging to be part of the campfire fun.

Thanks to Carter & Cook for inviting us to be a part of this wonderful team.

Inspired by (500) Days of Summer

I’m so excited to finally be able to show photographs from this killer shoot! I had to hold off because it was being featured in print, but it’s on newsstand’s today! The lovely Jen of Green Wedding Shoes created an inspiration board from the film (500) Days of Summer a while back and turns out it caught the attention of Serendipity magazine who wanted to bring it to life! I was thrilled to be part of this shoot and the theme fit perfectly with my inventory!

Be sure to check out parts onetwo and three of the shoot featured on Green Wedding Shoes today. Thanks to all the wonderful people involved, your talent is truly amazing! You can pick up the magazine at Barnes & Nobles, Borders, CVS, Bristol Farms & Ralphs.
