Crystal and Sandy…Real Wedding

Love the bold, striking colors of these few shots from Crystal and Sandy’s wedding! This route sign chair is one of my favorites, I’m not gonna lie. I had it upholstered in authentic route signs from the UK and the front I used vintage homespun linen. Joel really wanted me to put this chair in our house when it was done, but I love that it is getting used at weddings and providing pretty pictures like these!

Real Wedding…Matt and Audree

I was so excited when this wedding was featured on 100 Layer Cake a couple of months ago! There were so many amazing details, which is no surprise since Nancy Park (So Happy Together) was the coordinator. It is always an honor to work with her and the rest of the talented team of people that pulled it all together. Isn’t it beautiful?

Hope you enjoyed :)

Alexia & Luciano…

If there is such a thing as perfection….these two are it. No joke. Not only are they absolutely gorgeous, but they are the most down to earth couple ever! I was lucky enough to get to know them at their engagement session with my hubby over a year ago. Check out more pics of that on Grey Likes Weddings.

I am so in love with my husbands ability to catch a moment in time, I always have been. That is what I love so much about the pictures he makes; the emotions I feel when I look at them. Each and every picture below tells a story, so for now I will stop typing…and let them do just that.

I love everything about this wedding, this couple, and of course, my hubby’s amazing pictures.

Pink & Fig Photo Shoot with Grey Likes Weddings

Today, Snippet & Ink featured this pink and fig faux wedding that we styled with Summer from Grey Likes Weddings. What a privilege to be part of this rustic industrial wedding inspiration at Keys Creek Lavender Farm outside of Escondido, California. The fig & plum color palette added drama to this vintagey scene with British route signs, a metal-topped industrial tablescape, and wire mesh accents.

Enjoy the images and be sure to check out Snippet & Ink and Grey Likes Weddings for more pics and details.

The ceremony area was set with our vintage route signs from British trolley cars.

Wire mesh baskets and bins held bouquets, pillows, and other accents throughout the day.

Every boutonniere looks better on a chipped vintage frame.

The bride and groom played around with industrial metal letters.

Don’t you love this spotlight with the vintage red couch. We actually recently gave the couch a facelift but it still has the fantastic charm, now just with new comfier cushions.

The route signs also acted as a backdrop for the metal-topped table and added to the industrial vibe along with the conveyor-belt-turned-light-fixture.

Our red iron table was the perfect pedestal for this fruit-ladden cake.

What a pleasure to work with these stellar professionals for this faux wedding!

New Arrivals: Distressed Leather Chairs

We’re so excited about our new arrivals this week. We got this little guy and his three identical friends. Isn’t he cute?

These distressed leather club chairs aren’t actually vintage but we love ’em anyway. They can be the perfect addition to a seating area, hang out in pairs or make a fantastic foursome. The petite dark brown leather chairs are 28.5″ wide, 32.5″ tall, and 38″ deep.

Leave us a comment to tell us how you want to see them used in an event.
