Haley + Matt

This Malibu wedding is full of pretty pastels and feminine florals. The rustic scenery of Calamigos Ranch paired wonderfully with this gorgeous celebration. Lots of great lounge pieces made for comfortable ceremony seating, in addition to our church pews. Read more about this lovely day over on the Wedding Chicks blog.

Mondayvation…Before & After

I thought I would share a little Before & After this fine Monday morning since there are very few upholstered pieces that I buy that don’t get a makeover before they enter the collection. I love the original frames and structures of old furniture, but let’s be honest….the fabric is usually not up to par! Giving new life to an old piece is one of the best parts of my job. Some people may look at the original piece and find it to be gross and dirty….I see most pieces with endless possibilities. In fact, choosing fabric is usually the hardest part for me. I am always drawn to a more neutral tone because I love to add color with pillows, but I am realizing more and more that you can really change the look of any piece with what you pair with it…and it doesn’t always have to be a neutral base! Look how different Avanti looks with new fabric, and pairing it in different ways….the skies the limit!
