I couldn’t be more excited this morning to share our take on Summer ’13 in our newest look book, “Feels Like Home.” This shoot developed from my recent picking trips and additions to the collection which have inspired me in many ways. In the last several months I have not been able to get enough of the gorgeously handmade indigo fabrics that grace the pages of this look book, leather whose distressed features tell the story of its past, and pieces with an Americana vibe. “Feels Like Home” is a portrayal of what I love about summer. It is the comfy and the intimate. It’s the family gathered around the dining table and the connection of friends forgetting the time in good conversation. It is 4th of July celebrations and nights under the stars. It is a sort of comfort that can be materialized in just about any setting….weddings, parties, or intimate affairs. It is home.
This rad group of collaborators found inspiration in the deep purples and greens of artichokes, potatoes and tomatoes. They created an intimate table scape set in this industrial loft overlooking LA and the Hollywood sign. When Mike Radford sent over the photos from the shoot, I just drooled over them. There are so many incredible details. I die over the amazing loft space and that gorgeous dress with crochet neckline. I always know that Kim from Art with Nature will create real beauty, but this is just absolutely stunning. Her florals complete the setting and create warmth in the industrial space. Can you tell that I really love this shoot yet?
I never doubt that the launch of a new Ruche look book means a collection of gorgeous and unique photos. Each and every time I think to myself that the new shoot couldn’t possibly top the previous, yet I am continually proven wrong by the amazingly creative team at Ruche. Tea for Two, the newest look book for spring, is absolutely incredible. I haven’t stopped flipping through the photos for days. The charming and whimsical scenes are just delightful.
Make sure to view the whole look book over at Ruche and check out the video from the shoot!
We’re honoring today’s celebration of all things love over here at Found with the launch of our newest look book, The Game of Love. The Game of Love is a story of celebration, joy, love, and intimacy. Our inspiration for the shoot grew from a desire to blend the more severe tones of an industrial setting with the soft, romantic notes of Valentine’s Day. The tale that evolved was of a dinner party and game night among close friends brought alive by a number of vintage board games and beautiful couple, Sam and Sydnee. With a tablescape made absolutely elegant by Casa De Perrin, florals from Inviting Occasion, and amazing photography from Studio EMP, our idea of the perfect Valentine’s (or any other night with friends and the one you love!) came to life. This shoot was an amazing group effort and wouldn’t have been possible without such a fabulous team. We so love all those involved and hope to have our own dinner + game party with them very soon.
A little secret: This awesome reclaimed wall in the background of the photos will soon be a whole lot of new Finn Square Tables.
In this inspired shoot, mint and brass combined with the gorgeous location played the backdrop for the perfect vision for any bride. Our first time working with Adrian Jon Photography, I absolutely love the combination of color and textures and look forward to more collaboration with this awesome group of vendors.
I was so happy when the ladies of Intertwined asked us to be a part of this romantic shoot featuring Olivia Nelson’s lovely bridal accessory line for 2013. Jasmine Star is such a gem and her photos are incredibly gorgeous. The inspiration for the shoot called for touches of glam and vintage elements, which created a beautiful backdrop to show off Olivia Nelson’s newest collection.
I adore the way these elegant sashes stand out against the perfect patina of this dress form (one of my favorites)
Isn’t she just precious?
I was so excited to find this beverage cart! This was one of it’s first excursions out of the warehouse and it really fit this shoot wonderfully.
I love all the ways the different vintage surfaces were created into displays for a variety of accessories.
