Movie Night…

The Bash, Please girls rock, there’s no doubt about it. I love working with them, and I am always amazed with their creativity and awesomeness! Check out this rad set up for a backyard movie screening. I love seeing my pieces used in different ways! Check out more here

Check out their other “Around the World” posts on Design*Sponge. Those girls have mad skills!

So when will you be having your backyard movie night?

Alexia & Luciano…

If there is such a thing as perfection….these two are it. No joke. Not only are they absolutely gorgeous, but they are the most down to earth couple ever! I was lucky enough to get to know them at their engagement session with my hubby over a year ago. Check out more pics of that on Grey Likes Weddings.

I am so in love with my husbands ability to catch a moment in time, I always have been. That is what I love so much about the pictures he makes; the emotions I feel when I look at them. Each and every picture below tells a story, so for now I will stop typing…and let them do just that.

I love everything about this wedding, this couple, and of course, my hubby’s amazing pictures.

Check out more on Grace Ormonde.

I fell in love with this engagement session when I saw the images that Matt Sloan sent our way, and seeing it on Green Wedding Shoes a couple weeks ago had me falling in love all over again…Kendelle and Scott rented the quilts they are snuggling in, and the large framed chalkboard, small things that added so much!

I love the balloons. I love the couple. I love the photographs. I love it all.

An Amazing Workshop…

I am so excited to be sharing these pictures on my blog!!! I was beyond thrilled when Jill La Fluer contacted us to be a part of her workshop by having some of our furniture there. To be asked to work with such amazingly talented people in this industry is humbling and flattering at the same time. I instantly got to work on some new pieces that fit with her inspiration board. I found the settee below and had it reupholstered in a blush velvet, made some pillows with fabric flowers in the same fabric & crafted the lampshades below (just in case they might have been able to use them over the table scape, which I’m so glad they were)! Allison and I loaded up Patty (the name of our 2nd boxtruck-the 1st one we call Gunther), and headed up to the amazing Ojai Valley Inn & Spa. We did a lot of heavy lifting, sweating, and moving of things around to get it just right, but I couldn’t be happier with the end result. Jose Villa sent us a disc of all the images in less than two weeks after the workshop (which was in May) so I have been dying to share them for over two months! I mean everyone knows how amazing Jose is, but to see my furniture in his images, what an honor.

I am truly blessed to have been a part of this amazing workshop! What do you think?

New Blog…

So excited to share my updated blog with you all! Subtle changes, what do you think? I am anxious to catch up on all of my blogging, but for now I just wanted to post a pretty picture (compliments of my hubby) of one of my favorite chairs….Oh, and what is that in the background? Ah yes, chippy paint. Two of my favorite things~

Beat-up old chair+Chippy paint=perfect first post on the new blog!

More to come soon~

Styled Shoot…

I was thrilled and honored to be a part of this photo shoot. I really do love everything about it. Beautifully styled by the one and only Jen of Green Wedding Shoes. Gorgeous. Truly and completely, Gorgeous.

Stunning. Right? I met with a bride yesterday that had at least five of these pictures on her pinterest board for her own wedding inspiration. I love that.

{Franciscan Gardens} San Juan Capistrano

This was a wedding industry event a few months ago at the Franciscan Gardens in San Juan Capistrano.

This venue was just completely re-done and is absolutely gorgeous!

I really love this venue & I’m so excited to have more events here! The last two weekends we had weddings there so I will share them as soon as I see the pics!
