Let the good times roll! We’re showcasing four different bar carts in four different settings to help spice up your next shindig. Don’t forget about the small touches. Dress up your bar cart with pretty florals, glassware and your liquor of chose. Cheers!
If you know me, you know I just love little ones. I would be a happy camper to always have one in my arms. Sweet little Olive is no exception…I mean, look at that face!
Lucky for Olive, she has a very talented Mom in Angel Swanson of Love and Splendor. Lucky for me, Angel is a dear friend of mine. I was lucky enough to be a part of Olive’s amazing 1st birthday celebration and I couldn’t be more excited to show off how Angel put some of my pieces to use. This sea-themed bash had all the oceans beautiful blues, handmade sail boats, a pillow + poof lounge, lots of fun sweets and was truly every child’s dream. Angel, you amaze me.
This rad group of collaborators found inspiration in the deep purples and greens of artichokes, potatoes and tomatoes. They created an intimate table scape set in this industrial loft overlooking LA and the Hollywood sign. When Mike Radford sent over the photos from the shoot, I just drooled over them. There are so many incredible details. I die over the amazing loft space and that gorgeous dress with crochet neckline. I always know that Kim from Art with Nature will create real beauty, but this is just absolutely stunning. Her florals complete the setting and create warmth in the industrial space. Can you tell that I really love this shoot yet?
Fifteen years ago I spent countless hours drooling over the beautiful pages of Martha Stewart Weddings for months and months while planning my own wedding. Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined owning a company that would grace the pages of this gorgeous publication. I am truly humbled and overjoyed with excitement. What an honor.
With a stellar combination of collaborators, Andrea and John had the makings for an extraordinary celebration. Its not a secret that we love the ladies of Bash, Please. Not only do they style the Found collection in lovely, unexpected ways, Paige and Kelly know to the very last detail how to create a seriously gorgeous event. Thanks to the amazing talent of Tec Petaja, Andrea and John’s celebration was captured in a way that we can share in the true beauty of that day.
If you haven’t already seen Melissa & Scott’s wedding up on Style Me Pretty, do check it out….I was honored to have helped with some of the styling for this wedding, but Melissa definitely worked hard on so many creative details as well. Check out more of her creations here.
It’s been a long time since I have done a “Friday Finds” post, but I thought this was the perfect opportunity. For those of you who follow me on Instagram (@foundrentals) you might have seen the picture below on my feed yesterday. After many witty suggestions on the naming of this piece, I had to go with the super fantastic suggestion of Wellington the Third (thanks Amber, of Pitbulls & Posies, I love it!) In it’s former life, Wellington was a beautiful store counter in Belgium & then imported into America by an Antique dealer about ten years ago. Every time I shopped in his store, I drooled over it and told him it was mine if he was ever ready to sell. So, when I got the call about 4 months ago that he was ready to part with it, I was beyond thrilled. I painted half of it for an event in May (2nd & 3rd pictures below) but have been too busy to get to the rest of it until I finally asked my most coveted fixer and builder of all things (Brandon) if he would give it a fresh coat of paint. Voila. Meet, Wellington the Third….
Half Way Done (and in action):
Sorry for the grainy iphone photos….I was just anxious to share Wellington with you all!
Hope to get back to blogging more next week….hard to do in our busiest season, but I do love sharing all that we are up to over here at Found!
