I always love sharing a beautiful collaboration with Casa De Perrin. I’m so lucky to work alongside such a talented team and also get to call them friends. Josh and Dianna Perrin have an amazing and unique collection that you just get a glimpse of in this inspired shoot. I adore the woodland wonderland they created – their favorite pieces from Found that they incorporated. Check out the awesome team and look they put together for this shoot.
I am so very excited to share our new Reclaimed Wood Pergolas with you all! These beauties were definitely a labor of love from start to finish, but I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. You may recognize some of these pictures from my instagram feed, but I would love to share a little more about how they came to life. Our good friends over at Bash,Please asked if we could make a couple reclaimed wood pergolas for a wedding, and of course, I was ecstatic about the idea! After searching for quite some time for the perfect wood, my hubby came across a fantastic place down in Laguna Niguel called True American Grain. When we went to check it out, I was like a kid in a candy store! Their selection is amazing, and gorgeous at the same time. You can read all about what they do, and where the wood comes from here. I chose the most beautiful hand hewn beams that came from barns in Michigan (circa 1868) and Tennessee (circa 1820). Joel got to work on a design that would make these structures solid, beautiful, and (somewhat) easy for our crew to set up. I am so thankful for his ingenuity and ability to build just about anything! Let me be a tad bit boastful and say that these iphone pictures don’t do them justice…These pergolas have just the craftsmanship and character of the 200 year old barns that this wood was originally used for. Can’t wait to share more photos soon!
We now have 4 of these pergolas built and ready to cozy up any event! We offer custom fabric options for the top, or they are equally beautiful without any fabric at all, or dressed up with flowers like the picture above from Bloom Box Designs.
This is one of our all-time favorite shoots. It has a Bohemian vibe in a casual environment that is just so intimate. Bright florals pop against the beautiful scenic backdrop. Collaborating with Bash Please is always a treat. This shoot was no exception. And who doesn’t love Ojai?
I am so in love with this inspired shoot in the newest issue of Rue Magazine and envisioned by the team at Gather Events. With the Hotel Shangri-la as the perfect backdrop, they conceived the perfect shoot for summer with bold colors, a relaxed vibe, and touch of tropical and exotic influences. Each collaborator went above and beyond to produce an incredibly beautiful look that is just perfect to inspire brides for the rest of summer.
This inspired shoot takes its cues from Van Gogh’s “Landscape with Wheat Sheaves and Rising Moon.” I love the subtle ways the shoot brings out Van Gogh’s beauty and applies it to the wedding world. The ladies at Orange Blossom Special Events created a look that is so readily applicable to a real wedding and I love the way they incorporated our vintage pieces like the Amelia Vintage Brushes and Desiree Painter’s Palette to create the overall concept.
I am at a loss for words. This wedding leaves me absolutely speechless with it’s beauty. From the smallest of details to Cortnie’s unbelievably gorgeous dress, I am in love with it all. I feel blessed and honored to have been a part of this beautiful wedding for so many reasons, but I won’t go on and on about why, because after you see these breathtaking photo’s by the one and only Jose Villa, you will know exactly how I feel…
There is much to love in this Victorian Tea Party inspired shoot. Avec Toi Events chose amazing details to really bring this shoot to life. With vintage and pastel cups and saucers, gingham upholstery, flowing gowns, and tasty macaroons every element is infused with the shoot’s inspiration. Not only a great inspiration for the big day, but also for a bridal shower, birthday party or baby shower.
