Another gorgeous event from the Bash, Please team with this art deco, glam wedding. The Aberdeen Doors look amazing at the entrance to ceremony-thanks to some fabulous florals from JL Designs. I wish I could have seen all the beauty in person, but luckily the wonderful Paige Jones captured it perfectly for us. Although, I want to snuggle that pup!
So excited about our spread in the Fall ’13 issue of Destination I Do! I loved being a part of this nautical shoot and teaming up with this amazing group of vendors brought together for the whole process. Here’s a little sneak peek from the magazine!
Last year when Hillary first contacted us and shared that Big Daddy’s Antiques would be the setting for her nuptials, we knew that we just had to be a part of her and Arthur’s celebration. Then when Hillary and the Gather Events ladies came by the warehouse, we were even more convinced. I’ve always loved visiting Big Daddy’s LA warehouse and love that Hillary had a vision for the incredible space (it had never been used as a wedding venue!). She and the Gather team created an absolutely incredible, memorable and unique celebration.
This couple is just rad. I’m so in love with their Wes Anderson inspired nuptials and how the ladies of Bash, Please brought it to life. This eclectic, modern, and elegant celebration reflected not only the films of Mr. Anderson, but also the couple so perfectly. I just adore each and every unique twist from the zebra envelope liners to the view-master “escort cards”– and everything in between. Eclectic perfection at it’s finest.

When Sterling Social came to us with the concept for this shoot, plus all the amazing collaborators, we knew we just had to be a part of it. I have been so excited to share these photos from Braedon Flynn and just can’t get enough!
The inspiration for the shoot was a bridesmaid lunch with a bohemian, “Free People” look. Even the unexpected rain only made the look more complete. Any brides looking for the perfect way to pop the question, “Will you be my bridesmaid?” Take note.
This post is long overdue, considering #theamazingelliot is almost 6 months old, but better late than never, right? Anyone that knows me, knows that I love my dear friend Allison to pieces! So of course when she told me she was pregnant (a year ago this month), I hugged her tight, and immediately asked if I could throw her shower. Lucky for me, she said yes :)
I had a blast with her shower, and feel blessed to have had so much help from so many great friends! Thank you Amber from Pitbulls and Posies for the amazing invitations, Melody from Sweet & Saucy for the awesome cake and sweets, Carrissa from JL Designs for the beautiful flowers, Diana from Casa de Perrin for dressing the table with so many pretties, Jon & Rachel from J & R Foods for the perfect meal of breakfast for dinner, and of course my wonderful hubby for these gorgeous pictures. All in all….I think it turned out perfect.
And then he arrived…
Elliot is almost 6 months old now, and absolutely perfect in every way. I love him so much, and couldn’t be happier for Allison and Tim! I have always said that Allison is perfect at just about everything she does, and motherhood has proven to be no different. She has so gracefully fallen into being a mom, as I knew she would!
